Reiterates Support for Republican 2nd Congressional Nominee

 
Former Congressional Candidate and current State Representative George Faught (R-Muskogee) reiterates support for the Republican nominee for Congress. “As I publicly stated to the press and those in attendance on the evening of the August 28th runoff primary, our party must unite and work to elect conservative Republicans from the top of the ticket down to the local races.  This year, in the open Congressional seat, Republican voters of the 2^nd District chose Markwayne Mullin as our nominee, and it is critical to ensure the next Congressman in the 2^ndDistrict does not cast a vote for Nancy Pelosi as the next speaker of the House nor caucus with liberal Democrats.”

Faught stated, "This election cycle is very important for the future of our nation. Voters will decide on November 6th the path forward for our country. The next Congressional session will be critical to determine if it is still possible to salvage our country from the ravages of fiscal irresponsibility, out of control government growth and attacks on personal freedom. It is imperative in the face of the many tough decisions facing our nation that Republicans are elected so we can ensure that there is a commitmentto returning our country to its stature as the Shining City on the Hill and a return to the freedoms guaranteed in our Constitution."
